Sorry I have been a bit lazy with the blog.  I have been working on the ship but just haven't had much time to do the blog.  But here we are back again.

Ok here we are showing some of the finishing touches, strips finishing off round the edge of the walls
The next job was to bend a strip of wood to make the Breakwater at the bow and also fitting the knighthead, whatever that does.
Now some of the bits and bobs that are needed to make the ship look good are being made.  Here are a series of pics showing things going together

So you can see the furniture etc that went in the casino and the theatre.  The casino doors. The stage and fancy pillar work plus those funny black things at the front.

Next was to make a start on the next deck

That was planked out as you can see, then as the next pics will show, I put an edge round it, checked it for fit and started to get together the first cabin to go on this deck.

Finally while things were drying off I gave the hull and first deck a couple of coats of satin varnish and painted the underside of the second deck white.

Things are really coming together now but as we are now making a lot more delicate parts things are taking a lot longer.  Also there is a lot of painting and painting, especially miniature things, is not my forte.
The next post should show the next deck starting to take shape.
