More Planking

Let me first say that in my opinion this is by far the most difficult part of the build.  Planking on a flat deck is quite simple, however planking on a bow that is curving in two directions is very difficult.  It's a question of almost letting the plank go where it likes up to a point, not trying to force it, or it will start to twist.
There will be gaps that go from plank size down to nothing in either an inch or so up to several inches.  This is something that just has to be learnt on the fly.  Just remember once the glue has gone off that's it.  Don't try and get the veneer off.  Better to put on another layer.
So, the deck and the hull are planked and just need a bit of sanding and then deciding whether to polish or varnish.  That is up to you!!
I am thinking of also planking the underside of the deck with Ramin just to finish it off nicely.
Once that is done we start on building the first level of cabins etc.
Keep on checking back here, I will be updating most days.
