Hi there!!

Just to introduce this blog, I am hoping to use it to track my progress in building the OcCre model Mississippi Paddle Steamer seen below.

I am building this to present to my wife to celebrate the time we spent in Minneapolis with friends celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary.
This was a year or two ago as we are fast approaching our 40th but I am only just getting around to it.
I am hoping the kit arrives soon as I want to make a start.
I chose the OcCre kit as they are supposed to be the most accurate historically and also are a reasonable price.
So hopefully the next message here will be that the kit has arrived complete with some photos.
Can't wait.
